My first IPO allotment- POLICY BAZAAR :)

Many of us have the desire to get the IPO allotment to enjoy the listing gains. 
The allotment of IPO depends on the luck factor.
Some people are so lucky that they get the allotment of most of the IPOs while some like me never received any allotment.

I have been applying for IPO's for the last 2 years but I never received a single allotment.
I used to think that in this life I won't get any IPO allotment ;)

Still, I never stopped applying because there's no loss.
There can be 2 scenarios either you will receive the allotment or you will get your money back on the refund date.

Recently there were quite popular IPOs like Nykaa, Policy Bazaar so I applied for both and I knew I won't be getting the allotment and as expected I didn't get the allotment for Nykaa.

Now Policy Bazaar, I was thinking "Ye bhi Kaunsa Lagna hai" and I didn't even check for the allotment but surprisingly I got an SMS that the amount has been debited from my account for Policy Bazaar which means I have received the allotment.

From the inside, I was like....
I had applied at a cut-off price of Rs 980 and placed the bid for 1 lot (15 qty).
It got listed on 15th November 2021 and I sold it at Rs 1190 and booked my profit, though the listing was not that bumper but I am happy that I received my first IPO allotment.

If you are not getting any IPO allotment, don't be disheartened, keep applying.

"Sometimes a small decision can take you to the right path" Two months back (5 Nov 2021) I decided to become a content writer and to be honest it wasn't planned ki mein yeh karunga.
